Guild AGM

At the AGM at Speen on 15th May 2010, 3 new Stewards were elected to join Lorna Smale and David Joyce. These were James Haseldine, John Manley and Caroline Yeo.

Hal Drysdale was elected Webmaster, and there is still a vacancy for Public Relations Officer. All of the other officers were re-elected.

The first Distinguished Membership Awards were made to Jim Diserens, Doreen Leslie, Terry Wagstaff, Ken Wakefield, and Sheila Watts.

Child Protection

The ODG Children’s Officer, Ann Mayou, has written an article on the requirements on towers to meet child protection law.

New Guild Web Site

The Guild now has a new, completely re-designed web site which is much more user friendly than the old one. We therefore see no point in duplicating full details of Guild events etc. on this ONB site. We will retain this Guild News page but entries on it will generally be limited to one line or posters and you should seek more details of the item which interests you from the Guild site.
